Computer Lab Response

                           This week in science lab, we learned about the different elements of energy most commonly used. We had different stations to go to, and used our five minutes to copy what we learned, down on a sheet used for each group. I learned that wind over all seemed to be the safest, and easiest to use. Also, overall, the most risky, and unhealthy energy source is nuclear energy. This lab was a fun, and fast way of learning all of the facts that I need to know about the energy used all over the world.

                                  " I've found the last golden ticket!" exclaims Charlie Bucket, a poor boy from England. In the book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl, you will read about a young boy that explores a hounourmus, cooky, chocolate factory! This chocolate factory has been tempting Charlie for years on end as he passes the factory every day. Mr.Wonka, the owner of the factory, sent out five golden ticket all over the world to visit his factory. You will get sucked into this book, and find yourself wondering, "What are those people thinking?"

Computer Lab Response

                         In computer lab this week, we discovered new websites to teach ourselves on! I personally learned where worm's go for the winter  http://wonderopolis.org/wonder/where-do-worms-go-in-winter/. Since they die of the cold, they lay eggs is sacks to keep them from freezing, so they will hatch in the spring!  I also learned about this other interesting website, http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/ called Grammar Girl. On there I learned if impact is a verb,  and it's really a proper noun.  These were my two favorite websites that I went on this Thursday in computer lab, but I learned a lot as we tested these fun, educational websites.
