The Horse and His Boy
In the story, The Horse and His Boy, by C.S. Lewis, you will read about a young boy named Shasta that is running away from his owner, a fisherman. He was going to be taken to be a slave for a very mean man, yet he believes that it will be pleasant to be a slave. This is till he meets a talking horse, a Narnian in fact, that was owned by the mean man, and he told him how miserable the slaves are, this is what made him want to leave. They went north in search of Narnia, and quickly meat a girl named Aravis, on a horse named Hwin, they were also running away to Narnia, so they team up. They later are separated because Shasta had been mistaken for a missing prince and was taken to a palace, so Aravis takes charge of Hwin and Bree, the other horse.
