Computer Lab Response
Today in computer lab , we were learning about different career choices. I learned from an online quiz that would do best with an artistic job. Also, I learned that when I'm in college, I would spend about $1,336, per month. IN the end, I learned about a job called a play-writer that I now want to do when I grow up.

Science Lab Response
Today in Science Lab, we learned about how pollution affects a species over time. So as an example, we used plastic teddy bears, some red and some blue. The red ones represent the alive bears, and the blue represent the pollutants. We put ten red bears in the bucket and two pollutants. Our group randomly paired up the bears and we saw what he pairs were. If you had two reds in a pair, they were alive. If you had two blue bears, the next round you had to add another pollutant in the next round. But if you have one of each, the red bear you have dies. IN the first generation, not many died because there werent many pollutants., but in the next few generations, you have to start out with more pollutants representing that pollution grows each couple of years. In conclusion, I learned that if our world doesn't stop the pollution from being so exposed to the wild, many animals could go extinct like they did in our game.

The Lightning Thief
In the book, The Lightning Thief, by Rick Riordon, Percy Jackson, age 12, is on a quest for something terrible missing in Olympus. He joins two of his closest friends, and battles some really scary monsters. If I were him, I would be sleeping with one eye open.

Today in science lab, we experimented on a turkey feather with oil droplets to represent a bird in an oil spill. Each person from our group got to pick a material to use that's we would test and see if it would clean, or suck up the oil. I learned that pet soap really works on removing oil, and that corn starch does not suck it up. This was a really fun experience that I I like in the lab, but I don't think I would be very good at it in real life.

Computer Lab
Today in computer lab, we did many fun and educating games from Bitesized maths. The first game we played was to help us learn our shapes, such as octagons, circles, and quadrilaterals. I our second game, we learned about the nets of 3D shapes, and it made it a lot . Both of these games included a quiz to take afterward, and as I took the test everything made sense. So overall, today in computer lab, I reviewed my geometryy, which was something I wasn't that comfortable with until I used Bitesized maths.

Just imagine the feeling of having to let your friends, and family go into an arena to dye.... This is the same feeling that the city of District Twelve has felt for many years. Once the people of the city enter the given area, the last one standing is the winner. If you read this book, you will learn, who goes in, and who makes it out.

Computer Lab Response
Today in computer lab, we prepared for the CST testing by going to Bite sized maths. We first studied different charts and how to organize them. For our second activity we learned about mean, median, mode, and range. As our final activity, we learned about probability and how to calculate it. So along with the educational factor, today's lesson was very fun as well.
